How it works

Each prospective Nanny is assessed at interview and their suitability for different placements are discussed. Original ID, CRB, First Aid and other Certificates are checked, and following this, childcare references are verbally verified.

Our vetting procedure is strict and only 15% of Nannies that apply - are accepted.

We respond fast, and send over suitable nannies

We review the nanny type needed and the families requirements and aim to send over suitable Nannies CVs the same or next day. For short notice bookings this is usually within a few hours, and our record is 4 minutes!

We aim to give an overview of each Nanny with recommendations, and excerpts from comments from their personal Referees and other 'My Temporary Nanny' families.

organise a Telephone Interview/ meeting

We recommend that the prospective Temporary Nanny goes to meet the family, so that both parties are happy that they are a good "match".

Part of the purpose of this is to ensure that the Nanny will be able to build up a good rapport with the children and that the parents will be confident that they will be kept happy and safe in the Nanny's care.

Where this is not possible, a telephone discussion or Skype interview will be suggested.
