Our Nannies

We have a handpicked selection of Nannies that we use regularly, carefully matching them to families based on their skills and experiences - and their feedback from previous Temporary Nanny placements.

Our most requested Nanny ‘types’ are explained below, and we can match your family on both a temporary and permanent basis depending on the requirements.

Temporary Nannies (Live In/Live Out)

We have specialist Temporary Nannies based all over the UK (as well as some overseas) who excel at being ‘thrown in a the deep end’.

Depending on the situation, sometimes a family will ask the Nanny to stay in their home for the temporary period (Live in), or sometimes it’s preferable for the nanny to be local and travel in each day (Live out).

Maternity Nurses / Night Nannies

We have a selection of highly recommended Maternity and Night Nannies who usually live with families to help them post birth. This is usually round-the-clock help for 5-6 days a week.

This can be a one-off to aid lack of sleep, or an ongoing booking where the nurse will help the parents to encourage a healthy newborn nap, feeding and sleeping routine from an early age.

Proxy Parents

A proxy parent is a Nanny who is in sole-charge of the children, due to parents being absent. This could be due to parents travelling for work commitments, holidays or family events.

In this situation the Nanny is living with the family 24/7 over the booking and responsible for doing everything a parent would do (school runs, packed lunches, washing clothes etc).
